La DGT dispone de 225 cámaras que sancionan tanto el uso del móvil al volante como si no llevamos puesto el cinturón de seguridad. Te decimos dónde están todas.
En abril de 2017, la DGT instaló 225 cámaras (un 60 % en carreteras secundarias y un 40 % en autovías) con las que controla la utilización del teléfono móvil mientras conducimos o si llevamos puesto el cinturón de seguridad.
Precisamente, la reforma de la Ley de Tráfico (que entró en vigor el 21 de marzo de 2022) establece que no sólo se debe sancionar el uso del móvil al volante, sino que también se debe multar si sostenemos el teléfono con la mano .
La multa por utilizar el móvil mientras se conduce (siempre que esté en un soporte o anclado) es de 200 euros y 3 puntos; pero si, mientras conducimos, sostenemos el móvil en la mano (independientemente de si el coche está en movimiento o no) la sanción será de 200 euros y la retirada de 6 puntos .
En cuanto al uso del cinturón de seguridad , la reforma de la Ley de Tráfico aumenta de 3 a 4 puntos la pena por no utilizarlo, o no hacerlo de forma adecuada; la sanción económica se mantiene en 200 euros .
Cómo funcionan estas cámaras Los conductores detectados por las cámaras cometiendo alguna de estas infracciones recibirán una carta en su domicilio en la que figurará la prueba ; es decir, una fotografía en la que se les vea con el móvil en la mano o sin el cinturón de seguridad. Además, incluirá datos sobre la fecha y hora en la que fue tomada; el punto kilométrico y la carretera por la que circulaba, matrícula y titular del vehículo.
